The French Jura is in the Franche-comte region of France and for the most part is unknown to tourists. Jura is filled with mountains, lakes, and rivers, and waterfalls. The Jura mountains form a natural border between France and Switzerland. Jura is best known for its wine, particulaly Macvin. I would definately go back because this part of France is untouched by tourism and relaxing.
What a beautiful place. I'll have to check back in with you when I get around to traveling to France.
